Maya Shoham is an NYC based actress, writer and amateur baker. She creates and performs art that defies people’s expectations, art that strengthens our empathy, and art that makes us talk to one another. 

 

Most recently, she played Sasha in the New American Ensemble’s production of Ivanov at the West End Theatre ("A start-to-finish triumph", Sarah Holdren for Vulture.) Other past credits include starring in the Off-Broadway plays Phantasmagoria, Best Friends, and co-producing, co-writing, and starring in The Ultimate Manic Pixie Dream Girl Speed-Dating Competition.

This summer, she's headed to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her one-woman show In Other Words.
